
Berries are the colorful fruits that are notably used to make most of the Cobblemon Poké Balls. They grow on Berry trees and come in seven colors: red, yellow, green, blue, pink, white, and black. To make production renewable, harvest the fruits that have ripened, collect their seeds, then replant them on Berry tree leaves.
Finding your first Apricorns
Explore the world until you encounter trees bearing colorful fruits. A ripe Apricorn is distinguished by its large size and visible color. Interacting with it or hitting it gives a fruit and allows the bud to start over from its first stage. It is therefore not necessary to cut down the tree to renew the harvest.
The official documentation of Apricorns describes seven colors. Collect several of them at the first discovery, as advanced recipes often mix different shades. Note the coordinates of the trees or bring seeds back to the base. A fruit harvest has a 10% chance of providing a seed according to the documentation consulted on September 4, 2026.
This probability means that a small batch may yield no seeds. It does not guarantee exactly one seed every ten harvests. Continue harvesting the mature buds without destroying their support. On a server, avoid clearing a natural area that other players depend on.
Plant a renewable farm
In survival, a Blackweed seed is placed on Blackweed leaves to form a new bud. Therefore, keep enough foliage when arranging the farm. Space the accesses in a way to reach each fruit without breaking the supporting block. A simple corridor or platform makes manual harvesting easier and makes the colors readable.
Separate the rows by color and add signs. This organization prevents finding out too late that a recipe requires white or black. Keep a chest for the fruits intended for recipes and another for the seeds. Replant some of the seeds before processing the entire harvest.
A Apricorn goes through four stages of growth. The bud starts small and dark, grows, and then shows its color at the final stage. On average, the full cycle takes one Minecraft day. Bone meal advances the growth by one stage. Breaking a fruit before the final stage gives no item and destroys the bud, so wait until the color is clear.
Harvest by hand or automate
Manual harvesting is sufficient for a small team. Go through each row, take only the ripe fruits, and leave the buds in place. Since the average cycle corresponds to a Minecraft day, regular visits are better than constant checks. Growth remains probabilistic: two buds planted together will not necessarily ripen at the same moment.
The official documentation also indicates that a dispenser powered by redstone and containing shears can harvest ripe fruits. This solution allows for a semi-automatic farm, but requires collecting the items and maintaining the shears. First, build a small module. Check that it allows the bud to regrow properly and that the items do not get stuck.
Berries can also be put into a compost bin with a 65% chance to increase its level. Use this method only for a real surplus. Colorful fruits are a versatile resource, and a rare color in your stock can become the limiting factor of a series of Poké Balls.
Transform the harvest into Poké Balls
The seven basic recipes use four identical Apricorns around a copper ingot and produce four colored balls. The red one gives the classic Poké Ball. The others give, in particular, the Citrine, Verdant, Azure, Roseate, Slate, and Premier variants. The more specialized variants combine several colors with iron or gold.

Do not automatically turn each harvest into a single model. Keep a reserve of each color, as Apricorns are also used for the Pokédex, campfire pots, and Aprijus. A balanced farm thus supports capture, exploration, and cooking.
Size the truss for its use
For a solo game, a few buds of each color and a regular harvest are generally sufficient. On a server, rather start from the consumption rate: number of active players, amount of captures, and preferred ball models. Expand only the row that causes shortages, without creating a heavy machine that is impossible to maintain.
Capturing is never limited on The Tower. A farm is used to secure supply, not to bypass a quota. To understand what happens after a capture when the team is full, consult the Cobblemon PC guide. Permanent death only strikes in the Tower and during raids, nowhere else.
Before copying a plan found in a video, check its date and the targeted version. The official history notably mentions the change of the seed rate from 6% to 10%, the addition of composting, and harvesting by distributor. Checklist before a big production
Confirm that you have all seven colors, that the buds are at the final stage, and that your chests separate seeds and fruits. Test a recipe on a small quantity. For automation, observe several complete cycles and provide manual access to the dispensers.
Finally, always keep a stock of seeds. A farm full of fruits but without available seeds remains vulnerable to a broken structure or a displaced row. This reserve turns a random find into a sustainable resource.
