Prepare the attack
A raid is an organized event. Before combat, participants know the threat, the Pokémon committed and the risks.
Assign roles
- Attack: defeat the threat without neglecting team survival.
- Protection: absorb pressure and preserve key Pokémon.
- Support: heal, take over and coordinate actions by voice or text.
The permanent death rule
As in the Tower, a Pokémon defeated during a raid attack can be lost permanently. This rule does not apply elsewhere in the world.
